Information collected through enquiries: When you contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, property location or name, possession timing, property type, service required, property size or configuration, indicative budget, and any optional floor plan you submit. We use this information to respond to enquiries, assess project suitability and budget, schedule consultations and follow-up, review floor plans, prevent spam or abuse, and measure the page or campaign source that generated your enquiry. We do not sell or disclose enquiry details to external marketing agencies or unrelated third parties. Website infrastructure, security tools and analytics services may process limited technical data, such as browser, device, IP or page/referrer information, as necessary to operate, secure and measure the website. Promotional communications: We send updates, offers and design inspiration through WhatsApp, email or SMS only after a separate opt-in. The initial enquiry response may be service-related. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using the opt-out method provided in the message or by contacting support@akarshdesigns.com. We maintain records of marketing consent and opt-outs.

How long we retain your data
For enquiries that do not proceed, we retain the enquiry email and related information, including attachments, for up to 12 months after the enquiry is formally closed. After that period, we delete or anonymise it unless retention is necessary for a documented legal, warranty or dispute purpose.
The Legal and Compliance Owner is responsible for retention reviews and for handling deletion, correction and other privacy requests. The same retention review applies to duplicate copies held in the email inbox. For customers who engage Akarsh Designs, we retain only the information necessary to provide the agreed services, warranty and after-sales support for the duration of the customer relationship and any applicable warranty or support period. After that, we review and delete or anonymise the information unless retention is necessary for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Floor plans are retained only while needed for the agreed design, warranty or after-sales service. Access is limited to authorised personnel. After the applicable service period, floor plans are deleted or anonymised unless a documented legal or dispute reason requires longer retention.
What rights you have over your data
How to exercise your privacy rights: You may request access to, correction or updating of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw that consent. Send your request or privacy complaint to support@akarshdesigns.com with enough information for us to identify the relevant enquiry. We may reasonably verify your identity before acting on a request. The Legal and Compliance Owner handles these requests. We may retain information where necessary for legal, warranty, after-sales, accounting, security or dispute purposes.
